One-third of international calls through Skype

According to a recent study, through famous communication service - Skype, realized a third of international calls.

TeleGeography's new study published new results of international calls. And Skype, as famous VoIP service currently receives one-third of international calls that are carried across borders.

Based on preliminary results for the year 2012, Skype has registered a large increase usage. Through this service users have spent more than 167 billion minutes, and these numbers have increased by 44 percent compared with a year ago.

Increasing the number of calls through Skype is twice larger than the entire international mobile operators together. Video calls through Skype now make up about 40 percent of all calls carried through this VoIP service
